Free Trial

Anyone can start with Finpilo without waiting for an invitation. You sign up, name your workspace and your first entity, and you are working straight away.

Starting a trial

1. Open app.finpilo.com and choose to sign up with your email address.
2. Confirm your email address. We send you a message with a link, and Finpilo cannot set your account up until you have clicked it. Sign in again afterwards.
3. Name your workspace. This is your parent company, or simply an account name.
4. Name your first entity. This is one of your processing companies, a department, or whatever else the documents belong to.

You land straight on your Documents screen with that entity selected, ready for the first upload.

Both names can be changed afterwards, and you can add more entities at any time. Registration number, VAT number, address and bank accounts are not needed to start. Add them later in Entity Management, when it suits you.

Workspaces and entities

The workspace is your account. Your plan, your credits, your people and your settings all live there. An entity is a company inside it, and documents always belong to an entity. A group with three companies keeps one workspace and three entities.

What the trial includes

The trial runs for 30 days and includes 50,000 credits. Everything in your plan works during the trial: uploading documents, email intake, AI reading, workflows, approvals, integrations and the API.

Credits are consumed when the AI reads a document, whether it arrived by upload, by email or through the API — and again if you reprocess it. Nothing else costs credits: reading through the app or an assistant, sending documents to your accounting system, running workflows, approvals and API calls are all free. You can see what is being used in Workspace Settings → Usage, broken down by day and by entity.

Keeping an eye on what is left

The header shows how much of your trial remains, next to the entity selector. It counts down the days while the trial runs, and tells you which limit was reached once it is over.

The trial ends when either limit runs out, so watch both. If you process a large batch early, the credits can run out well before the 30 days do.

When the trial ends

Your workspace stays open and your documents stay exactly where they are. Nothing is deleted.

What still works:

• Viewing and searching every document you have
• Exporting your documents and their data
• Editing documents, and everything on the entity, partner and dimension screens
• Workflows, approvals, integrations and notifications
• Inviting and managing users

What stops:

• Uploading new documents
• Email intake. Anything sent to your Finpilo address is not added, and the sender is told so
• Adding documents through the API or an AI assistant
• AI reading, which also means reprocessing an existing document does nothing

Continuing after the trial

Write to help@finpilo.com and we will arrange a plan for you. Once it is in place, everything switches back on, and the documents you gathered during the trial are still there.
